Just 10 miles from the town of Dingle, nestled on the edge of Ireland’s dramatic south-west coastline, lies the most westerly golf course on the Wild Atlantic Way – Dingle Golf Links, or ‘Ceann Sibeal’ in Gaelic.
Dingle Links is situated in a cauldron of breathtaking beauty with the Atlantic Ocean visible on both 9’s. To the east is Smerwick harbour and Mount Brandon, and out to the west the historic Blasket Islands sit on the horizon. The towering headland that overlooks the links gives Dingle Golf Links its Irish name. This stunning location was chosen as the set for recent Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi.
Designed by Eddie Hackett (Waterville & Dooks) the course is as natural a links course as you will find. Firm and fast, Dingle Links challenges the golfer to use their imagination to navigate the natural terrain. The course boasts some of the best fairways and greens anywhere in the south west.
